The leaders of Europe's foremost patriotic parties together.
After a busy dayís campaigning in Keighley and Ilkley in West Yorkshire, BNP Leader Nick Griffin this evening flew to Paris. Tomorrow (Sunday) Mr. Griffin will be guest of honour at the Front Nationalís annual First of May Joan of Arc parade through the French capital.
The FN president, Jean Marie Le Pen, will be using this yearís event as a key part of the campaign to persuade the French people to reject the EU constitution which is to be decided in a referendum due to be held at the end of May.
The French patriots of FN believe that Mr. Griffinís presence will help them make the point that opposition to the idea of a federal Europe is not a matter of xenophobia, but of preserving democracy and the freedoms of all the sovereign nations of Europe.
