Cesar Chavez ParkGo Fly A Kite! (Cesar Chavez Park)

One of Berkeley's most magnificent treasures is the Marina. Filled with exciting activities for people of all ages, the Berkeley Marina is a great place to enjoy a beautiful day. One of my favorite things to do there is fly a kite at Cesar Chavez park. There's always an eclectic collection of Berkeley folks enjoying the breezy waterfront. So grab a few friends, maybe a picnic lunch, and go fly a kite! The park even hosts anCesar Chavez Park annual high flying Berkeley Kite Festival each July. Also located at Cesar Chavez park is a wild life sanctuary, sports fields, paved pathways and picnic areas.
