Section of I-90 Connector will reopen on Friday, September 1, 2006 at approximately 9:00 PM
I-90/Masspike Eastbound Connector to South Boston with Access to the Ted Williams Tunnel
One lane of the I-90 connector eastbound from the Mass Pike to Exit 25 in South Boston will reopen on Friday, September 1, 2006 at approximately 9:00 PM. Motorists from the west will now be able to stay on I-90 and access the Ted Williams Tunnel to Logan Airport, using a short stretch of surface roadway, as well as reach the South Boston Seaport area destinations (without detouring). Access to Massport Haul Road will not be provided; motorists must keep left and follow signs to "Seaport Boulevard" for all South Boston Seaport destinations.
From the West to Logan Airport and East Boston: Continue on I-90/Masspike East and take Exit 25 (South Boston) and follow signs to rejoin I-90 East to Logan Airport.
From the West to South Boston Waterfront/Convention Center: Continue on I-90/Masspike East and take Exit 25 to South Boston.
1. To Congress Street/Northern Avenue/Bank of America Pavilion: Follow the "Seaport Blvd." signs to Congress Street and the Seaport District.
2. To the Convention Center: Follow the "Seaport Blvd." signs to Congress Street. Turn right on Congress Street, right on D Street, right on Summer Street and left into the building.
3. To Black Falcon Cruise Terminal/Design Center: Follow the "Seaport Blvd." signs to Congress Street. Turn right on Congress
Street, right on D Street, and left on Summer Street. Take a left onto Drydock
Avenue (which is Marine Industrial Park). Follow Drydock Avenue as it turns right
at the end of the Boston Design Center. Turn right onto Black Falcon Avenue,
traveling straight to the stop sign, where Port Officers will direct you for either
passenger drop-off or to the parking garage.
