Description du projet
Two French Immersion teachers
have created an integrated unit on pizza where students
use pizza to explore objectives from many areas of the curriculum.
In math, concepts of fractions, money, symmetry, area, perimeter
and circumference are explored through activity centers.
Science is examined in the areas of capacity, volume and
time. A multidimensional approach to second language learning
is used with the experiential goal of dining at a restaurant
to order and eat pizza in French.
