Hosted by TSN's Dave Hodge, TSN The Reporters features Canada's top sports journalists: Michael Farber of Sports Illustrated, Dave Naylor of globesports.com, Damien Cox of The Toronto Star and Steve Simmons, a syndicated columnist with Sun Media.

Dave Hodge
image Dave Hodge has been a cornerstone of TSN for more than a decade, hosting informative and insightful programs like TSN Inside Sports and The Dave Hodge Special. Prior to his time at TSN, Hodge was familiar to Canadians from coast-to-coast as the host of Hockey Night in Canada on CBC from 1971 until 1987. Hodge's honest assessment of sports has endeared him to his radio and TV audiences throughout his long career, and his work was celebrated in 1995 when he won the Gemini award for best Canadian sports broadcaster. Hodge can be seen weekly on TSN The Reporters, as well as the NHL on TSN and Molson Leaf Hockey on TSN.

Steve Simmons
image Steve Simmons of Sun Media is the most read sports columnist in Canada, appearing regularly in 14 newspapers including the Toronto Sun, Edmonton Sun, Winnipeg Sun, Calgary Sun, Ottawa Sun and London Free Press. Known for being provocative and outspoken, Simmons has covered sport in this country for a quarter-century, attending 10 Olympic Games, and numerous Stanley Cup finals, Super Bowls, World Series, NBA finals, Grey Cups and world championship fights. When not working, you can usually find Simmons in an arena where he coaches two minor hockey teams in the Greater Toronto area. He is married with two teenaged boys.

Damien Cox
image Damien Cox is a sports columnist for the Toronto Star, Canada's largest newspaper. He has covered the Toronto Maple Leafs for over 15 years, and has covered the 1998 and 2002 Winter Olympics, as well as other international hockey events. He won a National Newspaper Award for a series on hockey development in 1998. Cox has also worked extensively in radio and television in the past decade and has been a frequent contributor to The Hockey News and ESPN.com, among other publications and media outlets. For three years, he was co-host of "Prime Time Sports," heard daily on the FAN590 in Toronto, and on the Rogers radio network across Canada. Cox has been named three times to The Hockey News' "100 People of Power and Influence in Hockey."

Michael Farber
image Michael Farber is an award-winning journalist who has covered the world of sports for more than three decades. Farber currently provides commentary and analysis as a member of the three-man panel on TSN The Reporters with Dave Hodge. The no-holds-barred live roundtable sports debate show delves deep into the heart of the world of sports to tackle the week's most pressing - and controversial - issues. In addition to his role at TSN, Farber is a senior writer at Sports Illustrated (SI), covering hockey, and has been with the magazine since 1994. In 2003, he was honoured by the Hockey Hall of Fame as a recipient of the Elmer Ferguson Award for his distinguished hockey writing. Farber has also been named to The Hockey News "100 People of Power and Influence in Hockey" every year since the list's inception in 1999. Farber graduated Cum Laude from Rutgers University in 1973 and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Following his graduation, Farber worked at the Sun-Bulletin in Binghamton, New York and then spent four years at The Record of Hackensack in New Jersey. Prior to joining SI, Farber spent 15 years as a reporter and columnist at the Montreal Gazette, where he won National Newspaper awards for sports writing in 1982 and 1990. He and his wife have two children and reside in Montreal.
