Talk about Fashion Victims
Okay, so who knew, but the record for most T-shirts ever worn at once was set in Essex, England in September this year -- some overachieving top-wearer put 224 on. Seriously. So, obv, someone stateside had to take a stab at breaking that record.
Nick Umbs, a 28-year old car dealership internet manager from Virginia, attempted just that this Wednesday, when he managed to pile on 183 T-shirts donated by BustedTees.com and its sister company CollegeHumor.com. The shirts, sized from XXXXL to XXXXXXXXXXL were custom-made for the event and featured slogans like "Suits Suck" and "Leave Lindsay A-Lohan."

Deal of the Day
These studs kind of look straight out of the Monopoly box, and the Boot Earrings are positively Boardwalk adorable.
But at $70 down from $100, they will only cost a bit more than Baltic Avenue.
Check out the silly Bing Bang earrings at Activeendeavors.com.

Normally reserved for royalty, this shade of purple is quite democratic in that it looks great with all types of coloring.
Give the deep hue a whirl with this Smocked Slip Dress from Twelfth Street and wear it to the office with a blazer, and ummm, out at night with a blazer or nothing at all.
The silk slip is only $98 down from $195 at revolve clothing.

Celeb Clothes
As a rule of thumb, I never, ever shop off of co-workers and celebrities.
Well okay, I have been known to buy a thing or two previously seen on Gwen or Eve, but that's where I draw the line. And that's also why I was horrified when I found myself lusting after Hayden's green dress.
Luckily some style sleuthing pointed me in the direction of Sir Alistair Rai - a line I already loved. It's a perfect mix of Indian sensibility with comfy modern fabrics and I could seriously live in it.
I quickly ordered Hayden's Jaipur Fraak and am fully lusting after the Bo-Ho Paisley Tunic, Chai Enlightenment Dress and Om Leggings.
Someone take my credit card away, please.

Deal of the Day
Sure, another plaid shirt, but it's time to stock up on some grungy lumberjack looks a la Matt Dillon's character in Singles.
And this Long Sleeve Pattern Shirt is only $9.99 at your mother's favorite mail order company, Lands' End, where it started at $34.50.
Rock this shirt with a pair of Dr. Martens and call yourself ahead of the curve.

Deal of the Day
I might like this classic houndstooth jacket better with a chunky toggle button, but it's nice enough as is, if you can't sew on a new button.
And it's only $49.99 over at Loehmann's via smart bargains where it was originally $118.
Wear it with proper trousers or simple shift for work. Pair it with some smart jeans and a blue oxford for a Saturday shopping spree round Soho.

Cute Canuck label, Allison Wonderland makes everything from this streamlined V Neck Dress to mad-for-plaid lumberjack shirts.
And it's $99 at Leelush, where it was originally $179. The boutique, which has been online for over a year just went brick and mortar this week on 29 Ludlow.
It's part-owned by a fellow Canadian who has brought over some lines worth checking oout, as Joey Jeremiah would say.

Super supe Kate Moss is rocking new bangs for her new man. She also launched a new haircare line last week with hairstylist James Brown.
I love the new look.

Deal of the Day
This is a fall staple that I can get myself behind - a BCBG Chunky Jersey Sweater to muck about in during the weekends.
Throw it over leggings, a turtleneck and some flats in lieu of a jacket. Or top off a sleek pair of skinny jeans with the comfy cowl neck sweater.
It's $118 at Bloomies where it was originally $198, and it has a big kangaroo pocket; which I totally heart.

Kickin' it with Claw
Our fave graffiti girl Claw Money strikes again with another dope collaboration with Nike.
We are so in love with her new 3-pack of Nike Vandal HI's ($150), out on October 25th at I Heart.
Sigh.
How are we going to make the time go by faster?

Deal of the Day-Take Two
It's a double deal of the day since, I left the haute list hanging yesterday due to some outstanding work.
In any case, I love Built by Wendy for her hipster preppy styles, but I also dig her random pieces that pop up.
I mean, a silk Empire Penguin Shirt? Who doesn't need one?
I just love the icy colors and the idea that an animal doesn't look kitschy. And it's $135 on her site where it once was $210.

Check out these adorable and preppy Rachel Comey Brown Bumper Clogs from LA's Creatures of Comfort.
It's like a cross between a clog and an old school Bass kiltie loafer, and it's $110 down from $245.
Perfect for clomping around city streets with a pair of jeans, a plaid shirt, and a nice classic trench.

Scents on Lex
Take an extra long whiff by Bloomie's today. Mixed with the usual stench of cab fumes and street meat is the light and fruity smell of
DKNY Delicious Night - $68 at Bloomingdale's - which is being wafted under the store's awning using ScentWave, some fancy new outdoor diffuser.

If You Hate Feet, Look Away
Dude, this is gross.
From the Stella McCartney show in Paris....
Not sure what's worse, the freakish length of the toe or all of the red bruising. Either way, clearly fashion isn't always pretty.
