The University of Oklahoma has one of the greatest winning traditions in intercollegiate athletics. OU expects great things from all its athletics teams. Time and time again, the Sooners have delivered with 25 team national championships.
 
Most recently, the Oklahoma men's gymnastics program earned its seventh overall national title in 2006. This followed crowns in 2005, 2003 and 2002 under head coach Mark Williams.
 
Oklahoma scored double titles in 2000. Head coach Bob Stoops led the Sooners to the program's seventh national championship in football while softball head coach Patty Gasso earned the program's first national title in a women's sport.
