John in Kansas City, Missouri: Are you watching the Race? Danny and Oswald should’ve won!
I actually spoke to them this morning, and they’re on to a new project: pitching The Amazing Race: Celebrity Edition to CBS! Oswald intends to run it with Sarah Jessica Parker, while Danny hopes to compete alongside J.Lo! Those guys are hilarious. They said if that doesn’t work out, Danny will become an actor and have his own show called One Trick a Night on the Logo network. Says Oswald, “It won’t be about magic tricks.” Ha!
Apparently Emily VanCamp has a thing for brothers.
But wait! Before you let your mind completely sink into the gutter, I should tell you that I'm not in any way talking about real life (Emily has three sisters, thank you very much!) but rather the actors who play her make-believe brothers on TV.
First, she had a lengthy relationship with Chris Pratt, who played her brother Bright on Everwood. And now, sources close to her latest TV home, Brothers & Sisters, confirm that Emily has been getting cozy in recent weeks with her new onscreen sibling (and former Kate Walsh arm candy) Dave Annable.
Oh, how I love Rob Thomas. Let me count the ways:
1. The Veronica Mars mastermind himself came right here to WWK Central to lay down the truth about exactly where our beloved show stands. (Swoon.)
2. He had good news. (Double swoon.)
3. He had good news for fans of Logan and Veronica. (Squee!)
4. He brought an important message just for you, the fans. (And now you'll love him, too.)
You can see Rob in all his guest-star glory in this week's Watch with Kristin show (Kristin loves to use Kristin's name in the third person) in the video box above, where you'll also find scoop on a certain House romance (plus Hugh Laurie pulling a Zoolander) and a discussion of assless chaps with my favorite Heroes and Felicity star.
Meanwhile, Veronica fans, I have much more info to share with you from my powwow with Rob Thomas. So, I'll be giving you our entire interview on Tuesday—the exact same day that Veronica Mars returns to the CW.
You will be watching, won't you? Of course you will!
You longtime readers may remember that I have a certain, well, history when it comes to The Price Is Right. It was that very show that forced me to use my birth-given name (Barker's rules!) in order to participate, forcing me out from behind the spectacles of my previous penname, Wanda, to far less glamorous but real one of Kristin.
Well, apparently, I'm not the only one with a special place in the ol' ticker for the fabulous world of Barker's Beauties, Plinko and the Showcase Showdown. In fact, our beloved Neil Patrick Harris has always dreamed of being a TPIR contestant, but as a previous Doogielicious child star, couldn't exactly blend into the crowd.
"I once had the chance to tour the set and watch them tape," he says. "But you're sort of standing in the wings and never actually get the opportunity to be up on that stage and be a contestant."
Well, leave it to the How I Met Your Mother producers to make Harris' TPIR aspirations a reality! In this Monday's episode, his alter ego Barney suits up and seeks out the suit-wearin' man he believes to be his father: The one and only Mr. Bob Barker. Seriously, what could be better?
Hot. Hot. Hottt.
This is what I can tell you to expect this Sunday night on HBO’s Entourage, as the season finally gets a little spicy—or should I say, bubbly?—with some hot and steamy action between Vincent (Adrian Grenier) and Amanda (Carla Gugino).
Fina-freakin'-lly!
I should warn you, however, that the forthcoming onscreen chemistry is almost too much to take, ‘cause when the heat of Adrian combines with the sizzle factor of Carla, it’s a little like looking directly at the sun. A little advice? Wear your sunglasses while watching at night. (The '80s are back anyway.)
That said, I know many of you have some burning questions regarding Vince, Ari and the gang. You’ve been emailing. I’ve been shirking my Entourage duties (too busy with my own entourage of hot Future Husbands who are surrounding me right this minute—in picture frames).
So, whaddya say we tackle some of the show’s biggest scooplicious queries, courtesy of the cast, which I caught up with at a recent event at the TV Academy? Can I get an amen? Thought so!
A little update on the winner and runner-up of this year's Save One Show campaign.
As I mentioned in the latest chat, Veronica Mars executive producer Rob Thomas is the special guest of this week's Watch with Kristin show on the Vine. Although you'll have to wait till Monday morning to see the entire show, I wanted to get out one message right away.
If you saw last night's Lost (and if you didn't, you should take your eyeballs elsewhere!), chances are you're wondering one thing right about now: Is the island actually purgatory after all?
Sure, we know that in the very beginning, Lost's big bosses assured us the island was not some sort of tweenie place between heaven and hell and that the castaways were indeed alive and kicking, but how else do you explain last night's cliffhanger reveal, that there were "no survivors on flight 815." WTF?!
I took the purgatory Q to the one and only Damon Lindelof (who is still da bomb in my book, in case you were wondering), and he shot back the following:
Update: I just got an email from a very highly placed source inside the show, who sadly tells me about the reports of Drive's cancellation: "Confirmed. Gone. No word on DVDs, but I wouldn't get your hopes up. You're sweet for supporting the show—it's greatly appreciated, for what it's worth." Hey, I'm keeping my hopes up, and you can't stop me! Sniffle. For the rest of the original story, read on...
Dang it! Drive has been plucked off Fox's Monday lineup. (And yet The Next Pussycat Doll is getting a second season! TV is many things, but fair ain't one of 'em...)
Studio sources tell me, "I’m hearing it is being pulled from Mondays—we have two remaining episodes that have been produced—waiting to hear if they will air (and where)." Four hours of the show had aired; six were in the can. No word yet on DVDs, but if you live in some far off place where Drive had yet to tour, you can read episode scripts over at TimMinear.net.
Post your condolence notices to Nathan Fillion below. Maybe he'll let you come by and make him feel better...

Once again, my friends, it's time to get up close and personal with some of our favorite castmembers on the set of Lost. This week, Dominic Monaghan tells us what's in store for Mr. Charlie Pace—and how he feels about your comments in this very section. (Hint: You're gonna like it!) Plus, Daniel Dae Kim talks about "D.O.C.," this week's Kwon-tastic ep, and about being the QB (seriously!), along with a special cameo appearance by the lovely and talented Yunjin Kim.
Could D.D.K. be any more lovable? Is Dom's character really done for? Watch the vids now, and then discuss these and other burning questions in the Comments section below.
Okay, you heard the man—it's not too late! Save the Junkie, Save the World!
