It's Every Day

McMann grew up in the wrestling hotbed of Lock Haven, Pa., and got her unofficial introduction to the sport rolling around as a kid with older brother Jason. She didn't officially compete until she joined the boys' high school team as a ninth-grader in Marion, N.C. "Wrestling was my first sport I ever did," she said. "I never thought it would be an Olympic sport."

"I used to believe that home is where the heart is," McMann said. "But recently I’ve realized that I have friends and family in so many different locations, that home is just where you hang your posters.”
