Simple kind of wonderful

Sometimes it’s not about how unique or original an outfit is, it’s about how it’s worn. I mentioned this before for some characters in Advance Wars, but there’s no better example than Poison from the Final Fight series.

A police-style cap, simple white half tank top, cut-off jeans, two leather chokers (neck and arm), and two high-heal pumps. It wasn’t meant to win awards, it just had to be thug-like so Cody and crew could whup on them.

Almost immediately, she stood out. To use a phrase I don’t particularly like to use, she totally worked it. This character sculpt by Reflect shows just how awesome this outfit can be when worn with the right attitude. In some rendtitions, she also has hand-cuffs, but they’re very optional.

Once again with the win. Costume GET! you know how to "work it". Very nice.

Isn't it true that the U.S. version of Final Fight (SNES?) doesn't have Poison in that "she looks wild!" costume? Show us the other costume (jeans?!) to show how prudish USians are.

I've seen the other statues on Reflect's website and I'd kill for 'em. They are all simply superb and gorgeous to look at, though I've heard the prices are a bit overwhelming.

Does anybody know of any possibility of them coming to the states?

Piyo - I'm sure the pics are out there somewhere. I'll look for them when I get a chance.

Miya - The Cammy statue was recently made into a collectible pre-painted figure. It was fairly affordable and you didn't have to worry about painting or putting it together. It seems to be sold out at most places now, but you can pre-order the restock shipments here: http://www.hlj.com/product/KYD01049 or here for the alt color: http://www.hlj.com/product/KYD01048

Actually, to be specific, Poison is transgendered. There's a bit of confusion as to whether she's pre- or post-op.

This is according to official game canon/backstory.
