captured at Loughrea, 1st Mar 1689 [using [NJ] date format, note that at the time this was regarded as the end of 1688], imprisoned at Galway, believed to have started writing down family tree in prison,
transferred to prison in Dublin after 14 months (May 1690), finally released after Battle of the Boyne July 1690,
finally produced first Blennerhassett family tree c.1737, known as "Black Jack's Book",
died c.1738, age est c.78 yrs,

    mar 20th July 1717 [Kilgobbin, Co.Kerry] to Elizabeth Harman [of "Kilmeyly", descendant of Edward I],

      died 13th Mar 1792, age 71 yrs,

      1. Susanna Blennerhassett,
        mar 1763 to John de Courcy, 26th Baron Kingsale [see KINGSALE in [Burkes Peerage]] and had issue.

      2. Catherine Blennerhassett,
        listed as of Kinsale, Co.Cork, at mar [perhaps went there with her sister Susanna],
        mar 19th Dec 1769 [(todo) see Hibernian Chronicle, 21st Dec] to Capt. Robert Agnew, 50th Foot,
        had issue:
        1. Margaret Agnew, born c.1777,
          mar c.1795 [her age c.18, him age c.31] to her uncle Harman Blennerhassett and had issue.

      3. Anne Blennerhassett, mar 1786 to Hon Michael de Courcy and had issue.

      4. Harman Blennerhassett, of Blennerhassett Island, Ohio River, USA.

    mar 1stly, 1717, to Dennis McGillycuddy and had issue,

        bapt 10th June [Tralee],
        mar 1stly, 29th June 1799 [according to [Jehan], but [LDS IGI, film no. 1760951] says mar 1806, Crotto]
        to Major Richard Ponsonby, of Crotto, Listowel, Co.Kerry, and had issue,
        mar 2ndly to William Lindsay and had issue.

    2. Robert Blennerhassett, mar Anne Blennerhassett and had issue:
      1. Edward Conway Blennerhassett, had issue:
        1. Richard Spottiswoode Blennerhassett, had issue:

          1. Therese Blennerhassett,
            wrote memoir of Harman Blennerhassett, 1901.
            Her ancestry is [NLI] GO Ms 182, pp.124-6, microfilm POS 8309.

    mar 2ndly, 1734, to Sarah Gun and had issue.
