Comparison Shopping: Osama vs. Obama

POSTED BY: TheInDecider

It was bound to happen sooner or later: the Freudian slip to end all Freudian slips. Campaigning in South Carolina on Tuesday, Mitt Romney became the first presidential candidate to "accidentally" confuse Barack Obama with Osama bin Laden. Maybe they all look alike to you, Mitt (and by "they" we mean "everyone aside from you and your sons"), but there's kind of a difference. Here's a little primer you can carry around in your $5,000 suit pocket, just to help you remember the distinction.

:D I heard that Romney mixed them up this morning on the news and I was like, "OMG! I've GOTTA write something for that!" It was fucking hilarious. Thanks for posting this; it rules. :D

An unfortunate mistake... but it would make an awesome verse in an update of an old standard! "You say Osama, I say Obama..." Do I smell a campaign song in the works? Catchy. The Distracted Globe
