Praver Named NPR Executive VP and COONPR announced yesterday that Mitch Praver, "a longtime broadcast and digital media executive, has been named Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer ... Praver begins October 29 and will report to Stern. He will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of NPR, including its programming, finance and administration, technology and digital media units and will oversee its business initiatives."
