Bernard Fanning and his band will play a series of concerts at the Brisbane Convention Centre, Hordern Pavilion Sydney and Melbourne Festival Hall. Tickets go on sale 9am Friday 25th August.
At the conclusion of the tour and across the Australian summer, Bernard will be rejoining John, Ian, Darren and Jon to commence recording Powderfinger’s next studio album.
In other news, Tea & Sympathy will be released Tuesday 8th August in the US on the acclaimed Nashville-based label Lost Highway, where Fanning’s label-mates include luminaries such as Ryan Adams, Lucinda Williams and the late-great Johnny Cash. The album is also slated for release in the UK through Lost Highway/Mercury on Monday 11th September, with several London tour dates already sold out.
