Chart Key
You can listen to and purchase the albums listed by linking to Amazon by clicking on hypertext in the list.
Albums with a new certification this month have italicized numbers on a color background for current position.
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certifies as gold albums that have sold at least 500,000 album units.
Platinum RIAA certification occurs for shipment of 1 million units, with multiplatinum certification for multiples of 1 million. For boxed sets and double albums with a running time that exceeds 100 minutes, the RIAA multiplies shipments by the number of discs (or its tape or vinyl equivalent). Multiple-disc sets are indicated by a slash and the number of CDs in the set after the multiplatinum level. I've started adding to the chart the number of minutes on double albums so you can tell whether the sale counted as one or more.

All of the albums on this chart are certified at a diamond level for sales of 10 million or more.
