1. You must have reliable transportation, auto insurance and a valid SC driver's license.
2. You must be able to work every day (365 days) in the early morning hours from 3:00 am - 7:00 am.
3. You must be bondable.
4. You will need a reliable substitute to fill in for you, deliver your route in case of sickness, vacation or car trouble.

Responsibilities for Independent Carriers include:

• Delivery of the Newspaper every day (7 days a week/365 days a year).
• Collections on the route.
• Meeting service goals and participating in all sales contests.

As an independent contracted carrier, you will be servicing an established route. Most routes have between 100 and 300 customers. Newspapers are sold to carriers at a wholesale rate.
