MYST Wikipedia |
Feeling a bit bored? Want something MYST-inspired to really get your teeth into? Look no further. This site is ginormous and stuffed full of everything MYST, realMYST, Riven, URU and there is a whole section on MYST Online URU Live. This link takes you to the front page. Very highly recommended [can't think why!] |
|
Pod Age Calendar Information |
Superb little page dedicated to Calendar Information for the Pod Ages Dereno, Negilahn, Payiferen and Tetsonot. There's a nice PDF Map of where the Ages are situated along with accurate timings of when the Bahro Portal visits and opens in each Age. Timings even reflect your own local time zone. I found the page invaluable and timings for GMT were spot on. Very Highly Recommended. |
|
URU RealLife Community |
Superb looking German-speaking site, dedicated to adding an extra dimension to the MYST Online experience. Of particular note is their page dedicated to Pod Age Calendar Information with accurate timings when the Sparkles reach each Pod Age. |
|
UruTunes |
Something a bit different. While the tunes from the site name aren't necessarily music from URU - strict copyright laws and rules apply of course - this site dedicates itself to sharing music feeds for you to listen to, though not download [so far as I've established from my cursory look]. |
|
Relayer Corp |
A new Community Forum specifically aimed at members of the MYST Online URU Live players. They hold in-game meetings too which are posted by the Guild of Greeters and on their own smart looking web site. |
|
URU Obsession |
I've added this link here as well as just below because URU Obsession is as close as you can get to an official link for Myst Online Uru Live. The link here is direct to their MOUL part of their extensive and superb site. Of special interest is their highly detailed and accurate MOUL walkthrough section. Highly recommended. |

The Official Cyan Worlds Web Site |
Kind of logical sort of place to start. This is the springboard for all Official Cyan Worlds things. |
|
Cyan Chat Room |
The CyanChat (CC) room is where you can meet some of Cyan's employees, as well as other people who have similar interests in playing computer games, 3D computer artwork, and game programming. They have also discussed the Myst novels and the people, culture, and language of D'ni, but the discussion is wide open. Definitely the place to join in and ask the relevant questions. |

Josh Staub |
Fabulous artist, excellent site. Check it out and sign his Guest Book...and don't forget to take a look at the animated film he's working on. It's called The Mantis Parable. |
|
Stephan Martiniere |
Fabulous design artist, worked for nearly three years on Uru, specifically the stunning Kadish areas. Excellent Site. |
|
Jason Baskett |
Worked extensively on Art, Animation and many other visual aspects for both RIVEN and Uru. He was responsible for creating the jungle interior on Jungle Island [with help from Robin Foley and Tony F. Davidson] and for bringing the Ytrams and Quabs to life as well as the player's Avatar and loads of other stuff. Some of his work can be seen and watched at his excellent site. |
|
Victoria Brace |
Just three screens of early work that helped secure her job with Cyan Inc. are shown here. Interestingly, Victoria's daughter's name is Anya, which is the same as the Chief Sister Protector on the Serenia Age. |
|
Jeremy A Engleman |
Another of the artists whose superb work was included in RIVEN, most noteably the Jungle Island lagoon. These days his web site contains a high percentage of extreme adult content. I'm no prude but this isn't the place for such a link. If you wish to view do your own search using the Google link provided. |
|
Robin Foley |
Created a lot of work on RIVEN, in particular it was she who created the trees in the jungle interior on Jungle Island. But can you guess what she likes to do in her free time? Find out here. |
|
Steve Ogden |
Has now left Cyan, Inc. but had dreamed of working for Cyan Inc. for ages before his big chance came. His first project was to work on realMYST and was one of three art leads for URU. This is his own site. He has just finished working on Sid Meier's Pirates! Live The Life for Firaxis Games. |
|
Richard Vander Wende |
Previously a co-Director of Cyan Inc. [1994-98], he was responsible for a lot of RIVEN design and art work. This is his [and his wife's] personal site. I previously criticised his site for being "really horrible and messy". I don't expect for one moment he saw my words but he has significantly improved and simplified the layout. Now well worth a look. |
|
Tony F. Davidson |
Davidson was one of the main artists who worked on RIVEN. Loads of screens of items he created to see and collect, plus numerous test samples and explanations about how things were done. Really interesting and first class site. |

What remains of the Official Web site for the Restoration of D'ni. It's now closed but the front pages remain. There are still numerous interesting things to read and look at including: D'ni & DRC FAQs, D'ni Essential information, Sights & Sounds, a full listo of all the Ages that were uncovered during their time in the Cavern [my Book Of Discovered Ages was initially created because of this information], as well as Archives. The Discussion Forums however are long silent and now completely closed. |

|
D'ni Dictionary |
This webpage aims to provide a list of all of the words of the Language of D'ni published by Cyan, together with citation of the actual source of each item and some indication of the context. It's a highly intense and beautiful piece of work in progress. The rest of the Eldalamberon Site is similarly excellent. |
|
D'ni Legacy |
D'ni Legacy is an unofficial game based on Myst/Riven/D'ni lore. With 6 Ages to explore and over 30 minutes of original music by Mark Germani, the site looks very professional. So far I've not played the game but I do intend to. |
|
D'ni Linguistic Fellowship |
An open community of students, scholars, teachers and explorers brought together by a passion for the intricate and beautiful languages of the D'ni and their many Ages. |
|
D'ni Pedia Writers' Ring [DPWR] |
You will need to register to participate. Besides a lively Forum section, of which I am a member [Username Zalthor], it's a really impressive site. The extensive archive library includes info on All known Ages, people of D'ni, flora & fauna, places & locations, objects & devices and more - plus afore-mentioned forums and fan sections. A definite to take part in. |

Tales of the D'ni |
Very nicely and well appointed site. Lots of solid information, specifically about the MYST Books and MYST games [not including Revelation]. There are biographies, named places and a glossary of D'ni terms. The D'ni Pocket Dictionary is also here [and has its own link from this page]. |
|
Guildmaster Telanis |
This is a series of Must See sites. The Guildmaster has been creating fabulous sites connected with the D'ni since 1997. Hardly surprising then that he's a highly gifted professional graphics artist with his own Cat-in-a-box company. I have personal permission, stretching back many years now, to use his Circle and Beetle design on this site. Highly recommended. |
|
The D'ni Desk Reference |
One of the very best reference sites on all things Cyan, D'ni, MYST, RIVEN, MYST books and more. Back in the mysts of Time both Kehrin and I were nearly sole members of the Guild of Archivists. I departed for fresh lands while Kehrin continued her faithful and meticulous work. Full Five Star and Definitely worth checking out. |
|
The D'ni Jazz Club |
Extensive and vibrant Forums covering all aspects of the MYST games in particular MYST Online URU Live. All catalogued in easy to access sections and there is plenty to see and read. Highly recommended. |

This is a Must See site - You visit the Ages of Tomahna, Haven and Serenia and have three puzzles to solve [none of which appear in the full game], and there's a bonus if you solve them - so it's a small extra game in itself!! Information, Character analysis, Revelation demo & a Wallpaper to collect. |

Stewart Bradford has created a really Superb site. All the Ages in the game are well researched and dissected, with lots of screens and correct information about all the many minor elements and puzzles that remain outstanding as you finish the game for the first time. There are also excellent sections with screens on the many Easter Eggs as well as unintentional errors and mistakes Stewart has discovered. Definitely worth a look. |

Ultima: Aiera |
An Ultima Project Site which lists every current project under construction at the present time. They have a complete section dedicated to Ultima IX projects. |
|
Ultima IX: Infinity Eternal |
This remake is being made by a former member of Redemption. Like Redemption, it is being made using the tweaked Morrowind engine now being used for Oblivion. It is being made to be more faithful to the plot of the original Ultima IX while adjusting those things which irritated many Ultima fans. The most interesting thing about this remake seems to be that it will feature travelling to other worlds, including Serpent Isle and other familiar worlds. A small demo of Buccaneers Den has already been completed [usinng the current Morrowind engine] and can be downloaded from Ultima: Aiera. |
|
Ultima IX: Redemption |
Ultima IX meets Morrowind. Ultima IX: Redemption is being developed using the Morrowind engine, featuring a totally original plot, and original gameplay. The remake is planned to live up to the Ultima greatness that the original game failed to achieve. It will feature total freedom of doing good or evil [which the original didn't grant] as well as multiple endings. NOTE: As of Sept. 18, 2004, this project and The New King have become one unified effort under the direction of Corv. The New King will be the direct sequel to Redemption. |

Fabulous resource site that will help you find anything and everything that you've mislaid, lost or want to find. Loads of hard work and well worth book marking. |
|
Helios Keep |
A huge and beautiful mod that is not to everyone's taste as it stretches Morrowind wealth and Lore to ridiculous extremes and totally unbalances the game but for all that it's an amazing piece of modding work and I love it. |
|
Indigo's Morrowind Vault |
Lots of individual bits to add to your main mod. Armor, Weapons, Creatures, races, furnishings [including a Guillotine], clothes and races. Mods include Balloon Transport and Balmora River House both of which are excellent. A number of tutorials and even an alternative crosshair. Highly comprehensive. |
