Very highly recommended [can't think why!]

Pod Age Calendar Information

Superb little page dedicated to Calendar Information for the Pod Ages Dereno, Negilahn, Payiferen and Tetsonot. Guild of Greeters

Following years of didicated work to the D'ni Community, this Guild has now been granted Official Status by Cyan and GameTap alike. It was first established to assist the DRC's efforts in restoring the city of Ae'gura by greeting new explorers as they arrived, and be there to answer any questions they may have had. They have returned to the Cavern and now have a very visible presence in MYST Online URU Live. The Public Links Section of your Nexus includes a link direct to their live Neighborhood and you will always find a band of cheery Greeters on hand to help you. I am also a site member of their main web site and post under my Zalthor name. It's a really first class place to check out for all the latest news as well as seriously detailed walkthroughs. Highly Recommended.

Kind of logical sort of place to start. This is the springboard for all Official Cyan Worlds things.

Cyan Chat Room

The CyanChat (CC) room is where you can meet some of Cyan's employees, as well as other people who have similar interests in playing computer games, 3D computer artwork, and game programming. They have also discussed the Myst novels and the people, culture, and language of D'ni, but the discussion is wide open. Definitely the place to join in and ask the relevant questions.

Richard A Watson
Art and Visual Design Director

I usually do things in alphabetical order but given RAWA is another Miller Brother in all but name...
These are his musings - bound to be clues here for those who love digging and speculating. He He!

Josh Staub
Art and Visual Design Director

Fabulous artist, excellent site. Check it out and sign his Guest Book...and don't forget to take a look at the animated film he's working on. It's called The Mantis Parable.

Stephan Martiniere
Visual Design Director

Fabulous design artist, worked for nearly three years on Uru, specifically the stunning Kadish areas. Excellent Site.

Jason Baskett
Animation Lead

Worked extensively on Art, Animation and many other visual aspects for both RIVEN and Uru. He was responsible for creating the jungle interior on Jungle Island [with help from Robin Foley and Tony F. Davidson] and for bringing the Ytrams and Quabs to life as well as the player's Avatar and loads of other stuff. Some of his work can be seen and watched at his excellent site.

Victoria Brace

Just three screens of early work that helped secure her job with Cyan Inc. are shown here. Interestingly, Victoria's daughter's name is Anya, which is the same as the Chief Sister Protector on the Serenia Age.

Jeremy A Engleman

Another of the artists whose superb work was included in RIVEN, most noteably the Jungle Island lagoon. These days his web site contains a high percentage of extreme adult content. I'm no prude but this isn't the place for such a link. If you wish to view do your own search using the Google link provided.

Robin Foley

Created a lot of work on RIVEN, in particular it was she who created the trees in the jungle interior on Jungle Island. But can you guess what she likes to do in her free time? Find out here.

Steve Ogden

Has now left Cyan, Inc. but had dreamed of working for Cyan Inc. for ages before his big chance came. His first project was to work on realMYST and was one of three art leads for URU. This is his own site. He has just finished working on Sid Meier's Pirates! Live The Life for Firaxis Games.

Richard Vander Wende

Previously a co-Director of Cyan Inc. [1994-98], he was responsible for a lot of RIVEN design and art work. This is his [and his wife's] personal site. I previously criticised his site for being "really horrible and messy". I don't expect for one moment he saw my words but he has significantly improved and simplified the layout. Now well worth a look.

Tony F. Davidson
Yantra Digital Arts Studio

Davidson was one of the main artists who worked on RIVEN. Loads of screens of items he created to see and collect, plus numerous test samples and explanations about how things were done. Really interesting and first class site.

D'ni Dictionary

This webpage aims to provide a list of all of the words of the Language of D'ni published by Cyan, together with citation of the actual source of each item and some indication of the context. It's a highly intense and beautiful piece of work in progress. The rest of the Eldalamberon Site is similarly excellent.

D'ni Legacy

D'ni Legacy is an unofficial game based on Myst/Riven/D'ni lore. With 6 Ages to explore and over 30 minutes of original music by Mark Germani, the site looks very professional. So far I've not played the game but I do intend to.

D'ni Linguistic Fellowship

An open community of students, scholars, teachers and explorers brought together by a passion for the intricate and beautiful languages of the D'ni and their many Ages.

D'ni Pedia Writers' Ring [DPWR]

You will need to register to participate. Besides a lively Forum section, of which I am a member [Username Zalthor], it's a really impressive site. A definite to take part in.

D'ni Pocket Dictionary

This dictionary is presented in PDF format and is intended to be downloaded and kept handy for all those occasions you need a quick translation from English to D'ni and vice-versa.

Eat My Shorz Relto

Nothing to do with Bart Simpson, this is a really nice set of pages - with first class html coding for good measure!

Nos'nih's Journals

He is Guild Master of the Guild of Chemists. His personal site is excellent.

Tales of the D'ni

Very nicely and well appointed site. Lots of solid information, specifically about the MYST Books and MYST games [not including Revelation]. There are biographies, named places and a glossary of D'ni terms. The D'ni Pocket Dictionary is also here [and has its own link from this page].

Guildmaster Telanis

This is a series of Must See sites. The Guildmaster has been creating fabulous sites connected with the D'ni since 1997. Hardly surprising then that he's a highly gifted professional graphics artist with his own Cat-in-a-box company. I have personal permission, stretching back many years now, to use his Circle and Beetle design on this site. Highly recommended.

The D'ni Desk Reference

One of the very best reference sites on all things Cyan, D'ni, MYST, RIVEN, MYST books and more. Back in the mysts of Time both Kehrin and I were nearly sole members of the Guild of Archivists. I departed for fresh lands while Kehrin continued her faithful and meticulous work. Full Five Star and Definitely worth checking out.

The D'ni Jazz Club

Extensive and vibrant Forums covering all aspects of the MYST games in particular MYST Online URU Live. All catalogued in easy to access sections and there is plenty to see and read. Highly recommended.

The Mysteries of D'ni

Hasn't been updated in a long time now but what information remains is really good [and was recommended in its time by Cyan]. Great [but short] intro and well presented.

The Vivarium Of D'ni

All MYST

Pages decidedly out of date - nothing since Uru was called Mudpie although some new content is being flagged. You may find some things here of interest though.

Black Market Web Site Furniture

This is an interesting concept...a site containing some framed pictures of MYST & RIVEN for use on your web site. Nice idea...only four examples now remain.

How To Fly In realMYST

Not so much fly as rise in the air...and keep on rising...but it can be fun to try. Warning: you will need to change some of your game files in order to do this, so it's not for the weak-hearted.

realMYST Flying

If you would rather not alter the game files on your own copy of realMYST but would still like to see some screens taken of it, you can't do better than to check out this website - loads of patience was needed to capture these fabulous screens - magnificent stuff!!

MYST5.com

Extremely smart site dedicated to all the games in the MYST series. Excellent, up to date Links page for a change and Myst5.com also features MYST V: End Of Ages too.

MYSTerium

Fabulous site produced both in English and in German. Has lots of older info [last post unfortunately 2005] and some music for MYST V too.

MYST & RIVEN Illustrated

It's good to see again lots of the "e;missing"e; screens that didn't make it into MYST, as well as diagrams pointing out the RIVEN easter eggs and some genuinely humourous stuff. Not now being worked on but still well worth a look.

MYST News

Great site for information, downloads and some fabulous screenshots for MYST, Riven, Exile, Uru and Revelation.

RIVEN Illuminated

Stewart Bradford has created a really Superb site. All the Ages in the game are well researched and dissected, with lots of screens and correct information about all the many minor elements and puzzles that remain outstanding as you finish the game for the first time. There are also excellent sections with screens on the many Easter Eggs as well as unintentional errors and mistakes Stewart has discovered. Definitely worth a look.

Ultima IX: Infinity Eternal

This remake is being made by a former member of Redemption. Like Redemption, it is being made using the tweaked Morrowind engine now being used for Oblivion. It is being made to be more faithful to the plot of the original Ultima IX while adjusting those things which irritated many Ultima fans. The most interesting thing about this remake seems to be that it will feature travelling to other worlds, including Serpent Isle and other familiar worlds. A small demo of Buccaneers Den has already been completed [usinng the current Morrowind engine] and can be downloaded from Ultima: Aiera.

Ultima IX: Redemption

Ultima IX meets Morrowind. Ultima IX: Redemption is being developed using the Morrowind engine, featuring a totally original plot, and original gameplay. The remake is planned to live up to the Ultima greatness that the original game failed to achieve. It will feature total freedom of doing good or evil [which the original didn't grant] as well as multiple endings. NOTE: As of Sept. 18, 2004, this project and The New King have become one unified effort under the direction of Corv. The New King will be the direct sequel to Redemption.

Ultima Dragons Internet Chapter

The Ultima Dragons are a large virtual club founded in 1992 on Prodigy who have since moved to the Internet due to Prodigy's outrageous rate structure. The club is dedicated to helping others with their Ultima questions, discussing Ultima, and, most obviously, sharing information and creative exploits. I'm a member of the Chapter and post very occasionally under the name of Anderson Dragon.

Ultima Info

Very colourful site which has a wealth of info about Ultima IX here.

Ultima: The Reconstruction

The online community dedicated to preserving Ultima through development efforts.

A J's Guide To Morrowind

A J calls this: The All-New, Fully Updated, Possibly Comprehensive Guide to Morrowind. I suspect he's right as it's a huge site dedicated to explaining EVERYTHING about Morrowind. Superb resource.

Aldrien's Chalice

Set out like rooms in a tavern, this site contains Reference material, Fonts, Editor Tutorials, Tavern news and lots more.

Barabus' Morrowind Mods

My favourite modder, who produces simply the very best mods for Morrowind. Fireplaces, a graveyard and crypt, clocks and a whole slew of new house tectures. Loads of brand new textures and ideas. Look for downloads at TES Mods.

Better Bodies

This is the home site of the most important Must Have mod. Improves the skin tones and body appearance of every race in the game.

Destination Morrowind

Well presented site which has recently got caught up in the Oblivion fever along the way. Well worth a look.

Dulsya Isle

This is the site that links you direct to the mod. I've never played it but PC Gamer UK reviewed it in 2004. Here's some official info from the site:
What's the story behind Dulsya Isle?
Construction of an Imperial fort on Dulsya Isle has been completed and the island has now been opened to development. House Hlaalu has begun work on a city at the mouth of the Vylla River, and a Breton proprietor has started working towards achieving his dream of building a city larger than any on Vvardenfell.

As you progress through each city's main quest, the city will face a conflict. The path you take will shape the future of Dulsya Isle, and you will be able to experience the results. Will you be content to explore and conquer the island's vast wilderness, or will you play a crucial role in turning Dulsya Isle into a thriving home for generations to come? What struggles await you on Dulsya Isle, and what stories will you uncover along the way?

Ghost Who Walks

The main claim to fame here is a large building mod called Abandoned Flat v2.0. To the author's credit this is a very good mod which comes complete with a quest called the Harvesters.

Hannah's Whereizit Morrowind Answers

Fabulous resource site that will help you find anything and everything that you've mislaid, lost or want to find. Loads of hard work and well worth book marking.

Helios Keep

A huge and beautiful mod that is not to everyone's taste as it stretches Morrowind wealth and Lore to ridiculous extremes and totally unbalances the game but for all that it's an amazing piece of modding work and I love it.

Indigo's Morrowind Vault

Lots of individual bits to add to your main mod. Armor, Weapons, Creatures, races, furnishings [including a Guillotine], clothes and races. Mods include Balloon Transport and Balmora River House both of which are excellent. A number of tutorials and even an alternative crosshair. Highly comprehensive.

Khalazza Productions

Large French Forums style web site. It's produced in both English and French so please be patient when you find grammatic errors. Believe me, the content is excellent. Loads of interesting mods and as well as tutorials in French.

Lady Eternity's Mod Resource

Lady Eternity is a well respected modder in the Morrowind community. She now works mainly on Oblivion projects. This is what remains of her Morrowind mod site.

Morrowind Mods from Dongle

One of my favourite modders. I collect loads of his stuff. One special thing here is that he has a selection of water meshes which are invaluable if you want to create a pond or waterfall with a pool above sea level. Highly recommended.

Rothril Stronghold

Morrowind mod which adds a rather extensive house [more like a small village] on an Island SW of Seyda Neen. I have the mod which is extremely good. See info and screens and download the mod [14 K] from the site.

Silgrad Tower

A very large and complete mod for Morrowind. Full info, screens and downloads at this site.

Silveri - Morrowind Mods

Huge number of colourful mods from floor and furniture coverings to utensils and replacement walls. With definite emphasis on colour, colour, colour.

The Elder Scrolls Modders Guild

Lots still going on here. This is the Guild to join if you still want to be part of and swap techniques in the Elder Scrolls Modding community. Link through to G.U.I.L.D to join.

The Unofficial Elder Scrolls Page

The creators have classed this the Elder Scrolls Wiki and it is, by far the VERY BEST website for all things Elder Scrolls. Everything you could possibly need or want on this series of games. It's the place I always visit first. Definitely Five Star and Highly Recommended.

Unforgotten Realms

A large site dedicated to far more than just Morrowind. This page has a number of interesting mods on it.

Lots of Company info and stuff about all their games including Black & White and Fable for X Box, plus the awards Fable: The Lost Chapters [the PC adaption] is already winning.

Fablegame.com

A flash site created by Lionhead Studios made into a darkly comic game. This is what sold me on the game in the first place. Beware - adult themes and spoof blood. Besides the game there are screens and some extra info.

Planet Lionhead

Very lively Forum & Message Boards as you'd expect with Fable: TLC being a new game.

Microsoft Game Studios Official Site

Really good site for the game. It's where I've been going to follow progress on the PC game.

J K Rowling's Official Site

Brilliant interactive Macro Media site set out like a writing desk. Kept well up to date, there are lots of pages to explore but you need to dig around to find the links. Totally in keeping with a computer adventure game of course. In fact, it was the inspiration for my own totally revamped site.

The Official Warner Brothers Harry Potter Web Site

Start by opening the Marauder's Map and access all the parts of the site via that. Daily Prophet, trailers, virtual wizard shop and Diagon Alley, downloads, games, info and loads more. Will keep you occupied for ages!

The Official Harry Potter Online Shop

It's all here: caps, tee shirts, Hogwarts House rings and scarves, bags and stationery, wands, broomsticks and even Hermione's Time Turner.

Alivan's
Makers of Fine Handcrafted
Magic Wands

Superb interactive site where you can enter the virtual shop, try out cyber wands and also purchase real ones. Out of interest, I let the wand choose me and am well suited to Holly: 15 inches, Enchantment: Essence of Phoenix Feather. Holly possesses protection qualities which far surpass any other wood and is on record for its overall strength. Holly is the chosen wood for use in performing and guiding dream magic.

SimCity Web Ring

Probably the best Web Ring network for all things SimCity.

SC3000.COM

SC3000.COM opened on July 17, 1997 in anticipation of SimCity 3000. It also serves as the domain for the SimCity 2000 Resource Page, which was established in the summer of 1995. SC3000.COM brings you top quality files, information, and the best discussion forum all in one place. It was revamped on January 1, 1999, and enhanced in February of 2001, to continue its goal of providing top-notch SimCity coverage. Lots of instructions on how to create large cities as well as specific projects and needs. I'd say it's one of the best sites for the game still going.

Sim Cities

Whole site dedicated to nothing but downloadable cities for both SimCity 2000 and SimCity 3000.

SimCity 3000 Page

Fan site with quite a few maps to download but forget the links - none of them now work.

SimCity 4 Fans

MSN Groups Web Ring for this game but you need to join to access the files and download section.

SimCity 4 Resource Center

Has the same feel about it as SC3000.COM so I suspect it's related. Definitely an excellent fan resource for SimCity 4.
