Yeah, was in WHSmith yesterday and saw The Beast (issue 16) and Elektra (issue 17) on sale!! I'm STILL waiting on 14/15 (Storm/Thor) - can only assume that Eaglemoss will be sending all 4 to me to arrive in time for Easter - then I can stop moaning!!
.....though waiting 4 weeks for every 2 issues is a pain...maybe cancelling the subscription once I've got the freebies is the way to go and then order through WHSMith or one of the online sites others have mentioned.... |

I sent this email to eaglemoss...
From: john cowell To: marvel@jacklinenterprises.com Sent: Sunday, May 07, 2006 5:14 PM Subject: Jugganaught special Hello Im a subscriber the the Classic Marvel Figurine collection. i have been an avid collector from the start of the publication, but iam unhappy to report that i did not recieve my Jugganaught Special with issues 18 & 19, unlike many other subscribers that i know have recieved this special. when i started my subscription i did opt to recieve the specials when they came out but i have not recieved mine and this has left me very unhappy. would you please be able to rectifie this situation soon as possiable as i would hate to have to wait until i recieve issues 20 & 21 in a months time. iam sorry but i dont have my subscription number but my address and name is... and this is how they replyed Dear John Thank you for your email. Please take note that the system reflects that you chose not to receive the special issues. Kindly confirm and I can change this. Kind Regards Mia Vaz Customer Care so my response was I recieved your email this morning and i appricaite your fast reply.Although your system says i did not chose to recieve the specials this is not the case as i did recieve the Hulk special and a letter stating that i would automatically recieve the specials, as well as opting too receve the specials from the start. Scince your system says other wise would you please be able to correct this matter straight away as so i can atomatically recive the specials. Many thanks and please can you deliver the Jugernaught special to me soon as possiable as i feel let down by this unfortunate experiance. please contact me as soon as possiable many thanks John Cowell IS anyone else geting this frustated because i just fed up |

When I ordered my Juggernaut Special through the website they said I should recieve it within 28 days. 29 days later it still hadn't arrived so I emailed them and they gave a prompt response saying it should arrive within 21 days! MAKE UP YOUR MIND! I finally recieved it a whole month later (so much for the 28 / 21 days)! Other than this it was good. In good condition etc etc!! Even with these faults I would order from them again! |

Yes deffinatly! They could have made his legs stretch up and arms out instead of just one arm! Looks a bit pathetic! Still buy it though!

Snadman also looks pretty awesome! I found out that he is the enemy in Spider man 3 and in Fantastic 4 2 the enemy is The Silver Surfer (I bloody love him)! I missed the figure of him Capatin Amercia and Dr doom though! They look good but I missed them! Going to order them from the website when I have some money!

Who thinks they should make a DC Comics figurine collection? Exactly the same as the marvel ones but with DC Comic heroes and villans?
I think it would be cool!

And you think you've got problems
Quote:
I STILL haven't received issues 16/17 (Beast/Electra) and yet some of you posting here seem to have had the Human Torch and Punisher too! (Not even mentioning Juggernaut!!) I've given up emailing Eaglemoss - I have sent a letter this time with the reader survey (from the Storm issue - which I received last week!) - doubt I'll win the DVD as one of the 1st 5 to reply though! So yes 'frustrated' is one word for it!!! |

Not such a good idea
Quote:
I dont think a Dc version of the mag would be a good idea , but after the classic marvel is done they can do... THE MORDERN MARVEL it has a nice highly marketable ring to it and can include more character like say Deadpool, Some of the exiles, X-man Nate grey, holocost, The Maestro and other charters from alternate realitiies and timeline that had a direct effect on the mainstream Marvel Universe(Earth 616) Im not to sure on more mordern characters but if anybody knows an extensive list or just a few i think we should post them. and on a final note i think there should be more marvel villians.
