Join the Global Citizen Corps!

Posted on August 24, 2006

Want to join the fight against global poverty? A few seats are still open in the 2006-2007 Global Citizen Corps!

Applying is easy. Take 15 minutes to fill out a profile, a few short answer questions and tell us why you are passionate about joining the Global Citizen Corps and the fight against global poverty.

Slots will be filled on a rolling basis so apply ASAP. You will be notified about your status within two weeks of submitting an application.

The online program will kick off this September!

The NetAid Global Citizen Corps (GCC) is national network of high school student leaders working to educate and mobilize their peers in efforts to end global poverty.

Each year, NetAid selects a diverse group of passionate and committed students to become GCC Leaders. Following an intensive training, either in person or online, GCC Leaders network with each other and receive tools, resources and support through an innovative Online Action Center.

Turning their learning into action, GCC Leaders implement a series of Global Action Days in their schools and local communities which raise awareness about global poverty, generate media attention, and mobilize their peers in effective campaigns.

Learn how to apply now at netaid.org/go/apply/ or contact NetAid at gcc@netaid.org.
