MCG & Telstra Dome Walk Up Access

MCG

Forty-four out of forty-five matches scheduled at the MCG in 2007 will allow AFL Members to simply scan their membership card and access a seat in the available areas. Walk-up areas are available on a first in first served basis, which means the earlier you arrive, the better access you have to great seats.

Walk Up Seats:

  • Level M (Undercover): Approx. 1,000 seats
  • Level M (Open): Approx 4,000 seats
  • Level N: Approx 600 seats
  • Level P: Approx 1,000 seats
  • Level Q (Prime, Rows A-J): Approx 1,300 seats
  • Level Q (Rows K-DD): Approx 5,000 seats

The number of seats estimated in each section are applicable to most matches, but are subject to change without notice.

The only anticipated home and away 'Reserved Seat Ticket' match at the MCG in 2007 will be the ANZAC Day game. To access the ground, AFL Members must have a pre-reserved seat for the match.

Any reserved seats / bays irrespective of the level- not reserved will be available for walk-up on the day of the match. MCG walk-up areas will be published within this section on the AFL Membership website from midday on the Friday of each round and be available on the AFL Membership whiteboard, located inside Gate 6 of the Great Southern Stand.

TELSTRA DOME

A total of 3,000 seats are unreserved for AFL Members at most Telstra Dome matches. To access these seats, members can simply scan their AFL Membership card at any gate and make their way to Level 3.

Any seats that remain unreserved within the AFL Members allocation on Level 1 at Telstra Dome can be obtained at the stadium box office at no cost on the day of the match.

AFL Members will be advised on the status of the Level 1 seating area within this section on the AFL Membership website from midday on the Friday of each round.

Please note that for 'Reserved Seat Ticket Matches' i.e. all Essendon matches, all seats within in the venue (including Level 3) are made available to reserve. AFL Members attending these matches will be required to pre-purchase a reserved seat through Ticketmaster or obtain one from the stadium box office at no cost on the day of the match (subject to availability).

OTHER VENUE ACCESS

The AFL Membership product is based on access to matches at the MCG and Telstra Dome. These two venues are the only ones in Australia that have an AFL Reserve.

AFL Members do not have access to Skilled Stadium and non-Victorian venues due to the fact that the clubs - not the AFL - control their respective venues.

If you hold a Club Support package for Geelong or a non-Victorian team, you are granted entry entitlements to that particular club's home matches because your Club Support fee contributes to the cost of the gate entry prices. Please note at some venues AFL Members will also require a club reserved seat to gain entry.
