Catholic Cathedral College was formed in 1987 by the amalgamation of Xavier and Sacred Heart Colleges. It is based on the religious charisms of the Marist Order and the Sisters of our Lady of the Missions.
Our college is co-educational, multi-cultural, Year 7 - 13, and integrated into the state system.
We are centrally located beside the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. Our catchment area is not defined, thus we have students from all parts of the city. Our maximum roll is 880 students, with up to 5% being allowed to enrol as non-preference.
The purpose of Catholic Cathedral College is to provide quality education, based on Gospel Values and the Catholic tradition, to challenge each student to live by faith. Our approach is encouraging and holistic while developing wisdom and spiritual maturity in our students through challenging programs.
