Al-Khader Area as well as the Cremisan landscape is full of vineyards. Grapes are transformed into the precious taste of Cremisan Wine at the wine cellar that started in 1885; modern equipment was added to it in 1977.
Cremisan wine is a product that is made in Bethlehem and is exported to many countries. The cellar has high arched ceilings and is full of casks of aging wine and brandy. The monastery’s wine production is around 700,000 liters per year.
