"Dogs Gone Wild" At China Grill

Showing their support for Florida's new "doggie dining bill" that allows dogs to eat outside at restaurants, China Grill on Miami Beach is holding a "Dogs Gone Wild" party every Sunday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. throughout the summer, according to this report by NBC6.

Personally, I don't have any problem eating with well-behaved dogs, so I welcome people bringing their dogs along to dine with them. As long as the dogs behave, are clean and aren't lhasa apsos. I can't stand lhasa apsos.

In my relatively short life, I've found that it usually isn't the dogs who misbehave, but their owners. ;-)

So what happens to restaurant patrons that have allergies?

Apparently, they have to move inside to make room for the animals.

China Grill would do better to turn down its volume. It is the world's loudest restaurant, causing hearing damage and sore throats upon departure after the dining experience. Who thought that listening to fast, pumping house music would be the perfect accompaniment to a $30 entree and an $18 cocktail?

The dogs are the lucky ones! They can't eat indoors!

I find that fast, pumping house music aids in digestion. You should hear it around my house during breakfast and dinner.

I used to date this girl who had a toy pomeranian, and every time we went out to dinner it was like eating with a celebrity. At least 5 people would come and interrupt our meal to ask about and/or play with the dog. It was especially fun when we were fighting.

Who wants to pay that much money to eat with a bunch of mongrels yapping and sniffing around my ankles? Keep your dogs at home when you go out to eat!
