Instructional Handout Masters The following are 8 1/2 x 11-inch, black-and-white, high-resolution, masters in Adobe Acrobat pdf format for making handouts of maps and charts related to Georgia. When printed on a 300 dpi laser printer, they will produce near camera-ready copies suitable for most uses. On a 600 dpi printer, each master should produce a professional-quality print. Some users have reported difficulty when they try to download and print our pdf files. Generally, the problem is with their printer or with the version of Adobe Acrobat they are using. Our advice is to make sure you have the latest version of Acrobat installed on your computer. One user unable to print reported that with the newly released Version 4, the problems disappeared. A second common problem is insufficient printer memory--especially for large pdf files. One solution is to reduce your print resolution from 600 dpi to 300 dpi. If you are still having problems, try going into "printer setup," then "print options," and change your graphics mode to "raster." If that doesn't work, try printing on a postscript printer. If none of this works, contact us and we will try to create a new pdf file from the original. For information on use and reproduction of these masters,

The four state maps below were generated from the same base map for use as overlays and have been drawn with more detailed state and county boundary lines than the other Georgia maps available here. Legislative District Maps
