After the results for all 28 wards had been declared, the overall make-up of the Council is:
Labour 44 seats (no change)
Liberal Democrats 35 seats (-1)
Conservatives 2 seats (no change)
Green Party 2 seats (+1)
Independent 1 seat (no change)

The overall turnout this year was 34.5%  In the General Election last year, the voter turnout in Sheffield was 43.9 per cent.
