A new version of Zappa Mexico is now available on shredderchess.com. This is a free update for all customers of Zappa Mexico. Simply download the program again via the download link in your order confirmation email to get the latest version. The download counts for all customers are reset.

Due to the huge success of our free online services we have upgraded our servers for the Shredder online applets. This means that you can now again play chess against Shredder directly in your Internet Browser or with your Apple iPhone with the usual speed. The optional online engine access with Shredder Mobile is also improved.

Shredder 11, Deep Shredder 11 and Shredder Classic 3 for Windows, Macintosh and Linux are now available on shredderchess.com. For the first time all latest Shredder versions are available simultaneously for all major operating systems. There have been many improvements and additions in the engine and the user interface in all versions. Please check out the feature list to see what is new in each version.

Zappa is one of the strongest chess programs in the world, won the computer chess world championships in 2005, is the reigning vice world champion and is famous for his powerful and dynamic play. We deliver Zappa Mexico via download as a UCI engine for Windows and Linux. This way you can install Zappa in all modern chess user interface.

Our famous chess program Shredder is now also available for the Apple iPhone. You can play against the Shredder chess engine with three levels of difficulty and solve daily updated chess puzzles. Just go to

Shredder has won the world championship in speed chess in Amsterdam and now has twelve computer chess world champion titles. Shredder was first with 6 points out of 7 rounds ahead of Rybka with 5 points and Zappa with 4.5 points.

From June 11th until June 18th 2007 the 15th World Computer Chess Championships are played in Amsterdam. Deep Shredder will compete trying to win his 12th computer chess world champion title. Deep Shredder will run on an 8 core computer kindly provided by transtec.

The 15th world computer chess championship will be held in the Science Park in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, from June 11th until June 18th. Shredder will compete trying to win his 12th computer chess world champion title. All games of Shredder will be transmitted live here on shredderchess.com.
