CPO Sing-a-long Messiah - December 9 (2:00 p.m.)
Like singing? Think you can carry a tune? Then be a part of the biggest choir in town as "George Frideric Handel" himself brings to life the glory and splendour of Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra's annual Sing-a-Long Messiah. It's a great holiday afternoon of musical fellowship and fun at the Jack Singer Concert Hall, EPCOR Centre for the Performing Arts.

If you'd rather hear the real Messiah, then the December 7 and 8 concerts are the ones for you.

Dickens Readings - December 9  (7:00 p.m.)
Christmas just isn't Christmas without a reading of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. CBC and St. Stephen's Anglican Church join forces for a special presentation of this traditional story. It's an evening of comfort and joy at St. Stephen's Anglican Church, 1121 14 Avenue SW at 7pm.  Participants include, actor Maureen Jones of St. Stephen's Church as well as CBC personalities Jim Brown, John Hancock, Katherine Duncan, Angela Knight and Tim Tamashiro

Tickets are $10.00 each and can be purchased at the CBC lobby, St. Stephen's Church, Calgary Interfaith Food Bank or at the door.
