2000 – 2002                 TechTV                     San Francisco, CA

Vice President, Products, News and Editorial Director

§     Conceptualized, planned, developed, implemented and directed content and format for groundbreaking daily nine-hour live news and information show, which launched in April 2001.

§      Reformatted daytime structure for Prime Time magazine show – increased ratings 50% in second month.

§      Directed daily and strategic content direction for these shows, 3.5 hours a day.  Managed news staff, product reviews and booking across the network, including web and radio.  Responsible for a headcount of 130 people and a $15 million operating budget.

§      Successfully expanded content focus from computers and Internet to include all emerging technologies, including biotech and nanotech, as part of network name-change from ZDTV to TechTV.

§      Guided content during launch and operation of successful cable television network and companion website.

§      Built editorial team capable of delivering both technical and entertaining content about computing and the Internet for television, radio and web.

§      Guided the successful launch and growth of ZDNN.Com into the second most popular high-tech news site on the web.

§      Led publication to its most profitable year, and a 30% circulation increase.
