Spring Social
The Spring Social was held at Coffman Memorial Union on April 22nd. Thomas Omestad, State Department Correspondent for US News and World Report and Daily Alum from 1983 received the Harrison Salisbury Annual Achievment Award.  Mark Fitzpatrick from the International Institute for Strategic Studies and Daily Alum from 1976 was inducted into the Minnesota Daily Hall of Distinction.  We also had the privilege to welcome Pamela Louqagie, Star Tribune Staff Reporter and Daily Alumni and Kyndell Harkness, Star Tribune photographer to speak about their experience covering Hurricane Katrina.
