Once stars shortlisted for Grammys

The stars of the Irish film and soundtrack 'Once', Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova, have been nominated in two categories for the Grammy Awards in the US.

They are nominated for Best Compilation Soundtrack Album and in the Best Song Written for Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media category for the track 'Falling Slowly' from 'Once'.

Also nominated for two Grammys are U2: in the Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals category for 'Window in the Skies' and in the Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals for their cover of 'Instant Karma'.

The winners will be announced on 10 February.
