Known as Little Guilin or Xiao Guilin among the locals, this park looks similar to that of Guilin in China -
a granite rock sitting within a lake.
The park has a narrow strip of land, beautifully landscaped and provided with footpaths.
This park is popular with shutter bugs and wedding couples.
The Bukit Gombak Trail
The Bukit Gombak Trail was created through the national Parks Board's Adopt-A-Park Scheme with the former Sembawang-Hong Kah Community Development Council and Bukit Gombak Community Club Youth Executive committee in 1999.
You can begin your nature walk from the park (behind Bukit Gombak Stadium) or from the end of Chu Lin Road. At each starting point, a flight of stairs beckons you to explore the rest of the trail.
As you venture further into the trail, there are directional signposts located at several points. These lookout points offer magnificent aerial perspectives of the lake and a bird's eye view of the surrounding estate. Look out for common secondary forest plants, ferns, fruiting bodies of fungi and different species of birds along the way.
