  • Sour note
Murray Verbonitz (Letters, Dec. 4) struck a sour note. I do not know what circles he travels in but many of us who are not racist do not see HB 1804 in the same light. We see this bill as a necessary step in preventing Oklahoma from becoming the next Third World state where the illegal immigrant population exceeds the non-immigrant population. We do not want high-crime sanctuary cities such as Houston where the mur der rate is 2.5 times higher than it is in New York City.
