     Bernard Henry Richard van Cutsem was born on 23 January 1916. He was the son of Henry Harcourt van Cutsem and Eleanor Mary Josephine Southwell Trafford. He married, firstly, Mary Compton, daughter of Captain Edward Robert Francis Compton and Sylvia Farquharson, on 28 September 1939. He and Mary Compton were divorced in 1947. He married, secondly, Lady Margaret Fortescue, daughter of Hugh William Fortescue, 5th Earl Fortescue and Hon. Margaret Helen Beaumont, on 30 July 1948. He and Lady Margaret Fortescue were divorced in 1968. He died in 1975.2

Sir Arthur Jocelyn Charles Gore, 6th Earl of Arran of the Arran Islands, son of Sir Arthur Saunders William Charles Fox Gore, 5th Earl of Arran of the Arran Islands and Lady Edith Elizabeth Henrietta Jocelyn, on 16 August 1902.1 She died on 6 March 1927.1
     Her married name became Gore. She was invested as a Dame of Grace, Order of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.).2
