Warehouse & Distribution.

Our 80,000 sq. ft. Distribution Centre in Johnstown, Naas, Co Kildare houses our extensive range of ambient produce and includes our bonded section (Wines, Beers & Spirits). Servicing independent retailers from Donegal to Cobh, it's literally a one stop shop!

Thanks to our computerised Warehouse Management System, orders from retailers are automatically printed in the warehouse which in turn facilitates product distribution with 48 hours, nationwide. At Londis, we're proud of our consistently high service levels to our retailers, with a choice between 1-2 deliveries per week, dependant on overall volume.

There are no delivery or administration charges on warehouse or central billing products. Additionally, all warehouse and central billing deliveries appear on one statement which is settled by direct debit, thus saving time and money for all concerned.

There are 10 Regional Managers nationwide working for ADM Londis Retailers. Their support is invaluable and their role is as follows:

"The level of ADM Londis participation in the stores is something else", In Cloghan, Brian Ahern from ADM Londis visits every three weeks and does an audit each time. He is usually here for three to four hours and his report comes up within two to three days."

Our Store Development specialists are available with advice and practical help for all aspects of your business operation; from start up stage, including site assessment, budget costings on agreed plans, tender projects to nominated contractors, equipment sourcing, store layout, planograms and product ranging, thus ensuring projects are completed to an agreed timetable and to the highest standard. Fresh Food Expertise

ADM Londis invest huge resources (both financial and personnel) in developing the whole area of Fresh Produce on a national basis. Our members avail of the best possible deals on a wide selection of fresh meat, fruit and vegetables, supervised by our own Fresh Food Experts.

Training

A comprehensive training package is provided for all retailers and their staff. More specialised courses are also arranged to cover areas such as; Food Hygiene, Computer Training, Off-Licence Training and Customer Services Training.

Retail Excellence Awards

Each year, we recognise the outstanding achievements and highest standards of retailing practice from our retailers at our gala Retail Excellence Awards presentation.

From over 340 stores and 5000 employees, awards are presented for excellence across respective regions and categories.

The ceremony culminates in the presentation of awards for Store of the Year over 5000 sq ft and Store of the Year under 5000 sq ft.

An award is also presented to the National Staff Member of the Year 2004. The objective of this prize is to recognise and reward key personnel within the Londis group, in particular staff members who are enthusiastic, highly motivated, show significant leadership skills and possess a role model approach to customer care.

A Responsive Service

We will respond to any telephone/written enquiry, request or complaint immediately - we will endeavor to resolve the issue within 24 hours. However, if during that time, the issue has not been resolved, we will keep you informed of progress until your query has been fully addressed. (Administration requests in relation to Central Billing issues may take longer to resolve. These issues will be monitored in a daily basis and we will provide regular updates on progress until the issue is resolved). 

Communications

A weekly newsletter 'The Owners News', is sent to all members, keeping you up-to-date with new product launches, marketing strategies, corporate developments and other relevant industry news.

Point of Sale Promotions

Throughout the year, for each of the 17 x 3 week promotional periods, ADM Londis Franchisees will each receive comprehensive point of sale support material including; full colour leaflets for distribution to customers, display posters, window posters, shelf edge signage. These regular promotions will incorporate all the main product groups within the store, from ambient through to fresh and frozen.
