Lueders places third at World Cup event

Steve Holcomb won another World Cup bobsleigh race in his hometown Saturday, topping the four-man competition a day after winning the two-man event. Pierre Lueders of Edmonton finished third.

Austrians win World Cup GS; Morison 3rd

Canadian Matthew Morison finished third in parallel giant slalom at a snowboard World Cup event on Saturday. Austrians Manuel Veith and Heidi Neururer won the men's and women's races.

Canada welcomes the world to Vancouver, February 12 through February 28, 2010.
