Revolution bring home first title

The Revs topped host FC Dallas 3-2 on Wednesday, Oct. 3, to bring home the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup title, relying on a defense that wouldn't break in the end to subdue a determined Hoops side. Taylor Twellman, Pat Noonan and Wells Thompson each scored for New England. Open Cup scoreboard >
