 Spectacle of Lights 2007
THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL 2007 SEASON!

For November and December, Heritage Museums and Gardens will only be open for Spectacle of Lights, which will take place Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, 5pm to 9pm.

Heritage Museums & Gardens celebrates American art, history, horticulture and industry on 100 acres in historic Sandwich, Cape Cod.

Thank you for a fantastic 2007. The 2008 season will begin on April 1, 2008, with the return of Pirates of New England and much, much more! In the meantime – don’t miss SPECTACLE OF LIGHTS, now through December 31 !

The Museum is famous for its Dexter rhododendrons that bloom late May into early June. The beautifully landscaped grounds are a naturalized woodland park on the edge of upper Shawme Pond. A Shaker round barn houses the J. K. Lilly III Antique Automobile Collection with its stunning display of antique automobiles. The American History Museum exhibits military miniatures, antique toys, Native American artifacts and the Cape Cod Baseball League Hall of Fame. An operating hand-carved carousel and many of America’s most distinguished artists’ works are on exhibit in the Art Museum. The Art Museum is also the home of our 2007 Featured Exhibit: A Short Life and Merry: Pirates of New England.

The 200-year Old East Mill, Hart Family Maze Garden and Labyrinth round out the museum’s offerings. The Carousel Cafe offers alfresco dining and the Museum Store has a newly opened garden shop.
