The former Swezey's Department Store building in Patchogue was purchased by Tritec Development Group. The headline on a business story yesterday about the sale was incorrect. In addition, the status of ownership was incorrect in the story. The building was sold to Tritec by owner Joel Furman before condemnation proceedings by the village were completed.
