The Intramural Triple Crown

Touch Of Gray-Stanford Intramural Division 1 Champions, December 11, 2005

We also went undefeated on the season. I am in the bottom row on the right in the picture, with my eyes closed. I played DB and WR, and then would come in at QB during garbage time because our much-better quarterback had a bad shoulder. Strangest play of the year, I intercepted a pass on a two-point conversion attempt and returned it 100 yards. After a long conference and pulling out the rule book it was determined to be worth nothing.

Balls To the Wall-Stanford Spring Intramural Champions, May 30, 2005

No picture of this team, just links to the regular season standings, scoring leaders, and the incomplete playoff bracket. Looks like my 38.0 scoring average was respectable, but Dave carried our team. Despite our #5 seed we came together in the playoffs, my best moment was nailing a question about the international standard units for conductance, capacitance, and inductance.

Team WestFlo-Stanford Winter Tournament Champions, February 12, 2005

This was among the most fun days of my life, the tournament lasted about 6 hours and we were down to our last man before elimination several times. I remember the adrenaline rush of being the last guy in, trying to keep the team alive after a few hours of dodgeball was pretty substantial. I'm now the proud owner of Dodgeball on DVD, with the case signed by the entire championship team.
