Eddie Sutton is two wins away from 800 for his career.
Why is Eddie Sutton coming out of retirement to coach at San Francisco? Why would he move to a new city, new league and new team? It's pretty simple. The former Oklahoma State coaching legend missed being on the sidelines and teaching players. Doug Gottlieb

Billy has to remember that he is in a fish bowl and people are watching his practices, his team's performance and his personal life. Jury is out. He can coach, but there is more to UK than just coaching."

I think Petrino is a great hire for Arkansas, if they can keep him happy and keep him there. He's a great offensive mind and he'll install the passing game Hogs fans have wanted for so long. Houston Nutt did a very good job at Arkansas. It's a tough job. It's geographically at a disadvantage from the other schools, but it's still a pretty good recruiting base. Yes, I agree the process in hiring Petrino wasn't too smooth. Tommy Bowden, Jim Grobe, Tommy Tuberville each got significant raises thanks to Arkansas. But in the end, I'm sure Arkansas is happy it landed a coach like Petrino."

C'mon, dude! All of the ESPN talking heads have shown respect for Marquette. If they rank the Warriors a bit lower than I do, it does not mean that they disrespect them. That is a good team, and very well coached and together. And, they play their tails off on every possession. Nobody has to talk sense into our folks. We have as good a group of basketball minds out there."

Texas has potentially the player of the year so far (Augustin and Tyler Hansbrough of North Carolina are my two favorites at this stage in the season) and clearly has a chance to get to San Antonio."

I feel like until Michigan actually names a head coach I'm still expecting [Les] Miles to end up taking that job no matter what is said till then. He knows this is probably his only shot to be the Michigan coach and I think that ultimately will be hard to turn down."
