Awaiting ASG open house

After months of construction, ASG has a newly renovated office, and they want to give students a first-hand look inside.

With more space and a whole new look, Student Programs’ expansion has been a long-awaited event.

ASG President Jacob Peltier said the original open house date was scheduled for early December, but was moved to January “due to numerous factors”.

Muslim Student Association hosts Women’s Rights in Islam

The Muslim Student Association (MSA) hosted a two-hour discussion on Women’s Rights in Islam in the Library Media Center on Wednesday, Nov. 28.

Maria Romero, a Seattle- based lawyer, was chosen to be the guest speaker for the event. Romero, accompanied by her young daughter, began the dialogue stating that she preferred for it to remain a discussion and not her preaching to the audience.
