We
arrived in Devon on the 21st of June 2005 with
an idea and a blackboard as a menu, we spent a
surreal 10 days helped by friends and a soft opening,
getting to know the Inn and the village, no one
knew us and our guests were very pleasantly surprised.
We
have given ourselves the brief to have a busy
local bar and a naturally relaxed dining atmosphere
in our restaurant. We aim to serve good honest
food, locally sourced wherever possible and with
equal care taken in every step from first preparation
to final presentation.
On
Monday the 4th of July our press release went
out and by the end of that week we were in the
local paper and the 'phone started to ring……..
