Maya-Mulayam spat takes violent turn

Violent protests have broken out all over Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday (January 9) as Samajwadi Party workers clashed with the police following the manhandling of SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav's brother and UP MLA - Shivpal Yadav. Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party supremo -- Mulayam Singh Yadav -- has directly targetted the UP chief minister Mayawati and blamed her personally for the police firing. He has demanded the arrest of the police officers, who were responsible for thrashing Shivpal Yadav.
