Ric & David Flair defeated Curt Hennig & Barry Windham at 13:56 when David pinned Hennig after Arn Anderson interfered and hit Hennig in the back with a tire iron as Hennig attempted the Hennig Plex; prior to the bout, Anderson escorted the Flairs ringside but was sent backstage after objections from Hennig & Windham; after the match, Vincent, Scott Norton, Bryan Adams, and Horace Hogan attacked Anderson and the Flairs; Chris Benoit attempted to make the save but was beaten down as well, with WCW World Champion Hulk Hogan, Lex Luger, Kevin Nash, Buff Bagwell, and Scott Steiner appearing moments later; Hogan handcuffed Ric to the ring rope before whipping David with his weight belt and spraying "EZE" on his back as Ric watched on helplessly (David's in-ring debut)

Chris Benoit & Dean Malenko (w/ Arn Anderson) defeated WCW Tag Team Champions Curt Hennig & Barry Windham in a lumberjack match to win the titles at 15:57 when Benoit pinned Hennig with the diving headbutt after Arn Anderson interfered and hit Hennig in the back of the head with a tire iron after Hennig knocked Anderson off the apron; lumberjacks for the match - armed with leather straps - included Norman Smiley, Chris Adams, Prince Iaukea, Hugh Morrus, Bobby Duncum Jr., Kenny Kaos, Kendall Windham, & Meng; at the 1-minute mark, Anderson appeared ringside and, after speaking with Adams, took Adams' spot as a lumberjack
Perry Saturn pinned Chris Jericho in a dog collar match with the Death Valley Driver at 11:50 after avoiding a crossbody off the top; prior to the bout, Jericho was escorted ringside by Ralphus but then sent Ralphus backstage when Ralphus refused to work the match in Jericho's place
Booker T pinned WCW TV Champion Scott Steiner (w/ Buff Bagwell) to win the title at 13:30 when Bagwell accidentally hit Steiner over the head with a steel chair when Booker moved out of the way, with Booker then dropping Bagwell before making the cover
Ric Flair pinned WCW World Champion Hulk Hogan at 14:18 with the figure-4 to win the title in a steel cage first blood match after Arn Anderson came ringside, jumped David Flair and Torrie Wilson, both of whom appeared mid-way through the bout, and handed Flair a tire iron to hit Hogan with; prior to the bout, Flair grabbed the mic and told referee Charles Robinson he didn't want him stopping the bout because of a scratch and would leave it to Robinson's discretion; Flair bled profusely from the forehead within the first 5 minutes but the match continued, with Hogan bleeding as well late in the match; despite Hogan being the heel and Flair the face, they worked opposite styles with Flair emerging as the heel; pre-match stipulations stated if Hogan won, Flair would be forced to retire; due to pre-match stipulations, Flair was named WCW President for life

Ernest Miller (w/ Sony Onoo) pinned Horace Hogan (sub. for Scott Norton) at 5:09 with a side kick after putting on one of his red dancing shoes; prior to the bout, Horace appeared instead of Norton and said he would beat Miller as payback for Miller hitting him the previous week on Nitro which lead to the match; the commentary team expected to see Norton but no explanation was made as to why he wasn't there; after the bout, Miller put on his robe and danced until Horace ran him out of the ring
Ric Flair (w/ Arn Anderson & Aysa) defeated Roddy Piper via disqualification at 8:14 when Buff Bagwell attacked Anderson on the floor, as Anderson gave Flair added leverage with the figure-4, and then attacked Flair inside the ring; moments later, as Bagwell had Flair trapped in the corner, Piper attacked Bagwell with Piper, Flair, and Anderson triple teaming Bagwell, Anderson hitting the spinebuster, and Piper repeatedly whipping Bagwell with a strap; Flair's role as WCW President was at stake in the match
WCW TV Champion Rick Steiner pinned Sting in a non-title falls count anywhere match at 11:41; the falls count anywhere stipulation was not announced until the ring introductions; the final moments of the match saw the two men fight their way backstage, past the WCW.com table where Chris Jericho was doing guest commentary, until Sting was attacked by Tank Abbott and had three attack dogs unleashed on him by WCW US Champion Scott Steiner; as two of the dogs bit Sting, the camera quickly cut away to a dozen security guards running to make the save; the camera then cut back to the arena where, moments later, the Steiners dragged referee Mickey Jay out to the ring, who then called for the bell after Rick had allegedly pinned Sting backstage but the dog attack was too graphic for the cameras to pick up on and the finish was not captured on film; the Steiners then cut an in-ring promo with Rick finishing by saying "And who's the shittiest town in America? Baltimore."
Diamond Dallas Page & Kanyon (w/ Bam Bam Bigelow) defeated WCW Tag Team Champions Chris Benoit & Perry Saturn to win the titles at 19:12 when Kanyon pinned Benoit following a Diamond Cutter / Greetings from Asbury Park double team behind the referee's back, as the referee was distracted by Dean Malenko helping Saturn up on the floor; after the bout, DDP dropped Malenko, who came ringside during the closing moments of the match, with the Diamond Cutter inside the ring

Bill Goldberg defeated WCW US Champion Sid Vicious via referee's decision to win the title at 7:11 when the referee stopped the match when Sid, heavily bloodied, wasn't responsive; prior to the match, Goldberg was attacked in the aisle by Kevin Nash & Scott Hall; after the bout, WCW TV Champion Rick Steiner came out and helped Vicious backstage, with Sid eventually turning around and trying to go back for more but was held back by Steiner and the referee

Madusa pinned WCW Cruiserweight Champion Evan Karagias (w/ Spice) to win the title at 3:32 with a German suplex into a bridge after Spice hit a low blow on the champion
WCW Hardcore Champion Norman Smiley pinned Meng backstage at 4:29 after the challenger was hit in the back of the head by Fit Finlay wielding a steel pipe as Meng fought off an interfering Brian Knobbs; Smiley was dressed as a Washington Redskin for the bout; after the match, Meng put the Tongan Death Grip on referee Nick Patrick
Dean Malenko, Perry Saturn, & Aysa (w/ Shane Douglas) defeated Jim Duggan, Kevin Sullivan, Mike Rotunda, & Rick Steiner (mystery partners) at 4:54 when Douglas pinned Duggan after Duggan's partners turned on him, with Sullivan dropping him with a low blow, while at the same time continuing to fight off the Revolution; Douglas did guest commentary for the bout and slid in at the end to score the pinfall; after the bout, Douglas cut an in-ring promo telling Duggan he would have to denounce America the next night on Nitro; due to pre-match stipulations, due to pre-match stipulations, Duggan was foced to denounce America; had Duggan won, the Revolution would have had to take over his custodial duties (Sullivan's surprise return match after a more than 2-year absence; the surprise return of the Varsity Club after a 10-year absence)
Vampiro (w/ the Misfits) defeated Steve Williams (w/ Oklahoma) via disqualification at 5:00 when Williams grabbed referee Charles Robinson and shoved him to the mat as Robinson tried to get Williams off Vampiro, moments after Williams easily fought off interference from all the Misfits; prior to the bout, Oklahoma was pushed ringside in a shark cage by the Misfits; Oklahoma provided commentary for the match through his headset; after the bout, security forced Williams out of the ring; due to pre-match stipulations, Vampiro earned 5 minutes in the ring with Oklahoma; during the post-match fight, Oklahoma dominated early because of the attack from Williams but Vampiro and the Misfits eventually ganged up on him, with Vampiro putting on Oklahoma's cowboy hat before dropping him with the Nail in the Coffin, having Robinson count the pinfall, and being announced the winner by the ring announcer

Curt Hennig & Creative Control (w/ Shane) defeated Midnight & Harlem Heat at 7:53 when Booker was pinned by a member of Creative Control after Hennig hit Booker with a foreign object as Stevie Ray, who didn't appear ringside until the 6-minute mark, argued with Midnight on the floor; due to pre-match stipulations, Creative Control became the #1 contenders to the WCW Tag Team Titles; had Harlem Heat's team won, they would have become #1 contenders
Jeff Jarrett pinned Dustin Rhodes in a bunkhouse match at 11:23 when, after Rhodes dropped an interfering Curt Hennig with a bulldog near the entranceway, Jarrett came off a ladder - which would be used for the US title match - and smashed his guitar over Rhodes head; prior to the bout, Mike Tenay conducted a backstage interview with Rhodes, with Jarrett then attacking Rhodes leading into the match; at the 5-minute mark, Rhodes duct taped referee Billy Silverman to the top rope, also taping his mouth shut; moments later, Hennig appeared, untaped the referee, and then interfered on behalf of Jarrett for the remainder of the match
Diamond Dallas Page pinned David Flair in a crowbar on a pole match at 5:34 with the Diamond Cutter; David began the match by sneaking up behind DDP and hitting him with the crowbar, with referee Charles Robinson declaring him unable to compete and asking for the match to end at around the 1:20 mark and awarding David the winner via forfeit until Page prevented him from doing so; moments later, Robinson called for the bell to "begin" the match, even though it had already started; after the bout, Page sat David on the top rope and again hit the Diamond Cutter and prepared to hit a low blow using the crowbar until the woman recently shown on Nitro who had the David Flair shrine in her bedroom (Daffney) came out and covered him up
Sting defeated Lex Luger via disqualification at 5:23 when Elizabeth hit Sting in the face with his own baseball bat; prior to the bout, Sting was escorted to the ring by Elizabeth, with Sting giving her a larger can of mace as protection just before they walked ringside; Elizabeth was unaware that the can was full of silly string until she tried using it on Sting mid-way through the match; after the bout, Luger trapped Sting's hand in a steel chair and repeatedly stomped it until referees came out to send him backstage; pre-match stipulations stated if Sting won then Elizabeth would no longer be Luger's valet; after Luger and Elizabeth left ringside, the unconcious Sting was carried backstage by officials
Kevin Nash defeated Sid Vicious in a powerbomb match at 6:58 when, after Nash twice failed at hitting the powerbomb as the referee was knocked out, Nash pulled the referee back up to his feet and told the ref he hit it; moments earlier, Jeff Jarrett appeared and smashed his guitar over Vicious' head after Sid dropped Nash with the powerbomb; pre-match stipulations stated the winner would be the first man to hit the move
WCW US Champion Chris Benoit defeated Jeff Jarrett (mystery opponent) in a ladder match at 10:15 after hitting a diving headbutt off the top of the ladder
WCW World Champion Bret Hart defeated Bill Goldberg in a No DQ match at 12:07 when, as Hart applied the Sharpshooter, Roddy Piper - wearing a referee's shirt - appeared and immediately called for the bell, awarding Hart the contest; prior to the bout, the two men shook hands out of respect; during the match, referees Billy Silverman, Charles Robinson, and Johnny Boone were all knocked out after taking over officiating the match; the crowd was pro Goldberg but there were noticable "Goldberg sucks" chants later in the bout; at the 11-minute mark, Goldberg dropped Hart with a mule kick to the head that later resulted in Hart announcing his retirement 10 months later; after the match, Hart confronted Piper near the entranceway, with Piper not saying anything but handing Hart the title belt and then walking off
