2008 Northeast Region JCOS Conference - Philadelphia, PA
March 30, 2008

The Cradle of Liberty Council's Jewish Committee on Scouting is preparing to host the 21st NER JCOS Conference that will energize and encourage all participants to return to their respective units and Jewish Committees and revitalize Jewish Scouting throughout the Region.

Philadelphia was chosen for the 2008 conference site because of its location and access to the Northeast Corridor rail system and Interstate highways.  Baltimore hosted the 2007 event and Northern New Jersey hosted the 2006 and prior events.

A wide range of hotels and other housing is located near the site of the Conference for those desiring to travel to the Philadelphia
area to take in its many historic and cultural sites.  There are also kosher restaurants nearby that are easily accessible.
