Bangladesh have confirmed that Javed Omar, Tushar Imran, Mehrab Hossain junior and Nazmul Hossain will return home from New Zealand and play no part in the upcoming Test series.

Bangladesh lost the one-day international series 3-0, suffering a 10-wicket humiliation in the final match in Queenstown.

Habibul Bashar, Shahriar Nafees and Enamul Haque junior have been added to the party and arrived in Queenstown earlier today.

Bangladesh play New Zealand in two Tests, the first of which starts in Dunedin on January 5th.
