Ratings: E. Pluribus Wiggum
A total of 8.15 million viewers tuned in to watch a 22 minute campaign rally for Ralph Wiggum, in Sunday night's episode 'E. Pluribus Wiggum'. Its the first episode in a year which doesn't have Simpsons movies, video games, and milestones to aid the ratings. It has become the second lowest rated episode this season. The first episode of last year rated 11.62 million viewers (The Wife Aquatic), but ratings dipped to 8.09 million for the next January showing (Revenge Is A Dish).

The Simpsons was in fourth place at 8:00, behind The Amazing Race, Home Edition, and Deal Or No Deal. Fox was fourth overall for the night as well as among the target demos. Family Guy ratings will not be compared as it was a rerun. The next new episode "That 90s Show" airs January 27.

After some brilliant ratings over the past couple of months, finally The Simpsons have lost a chunk of viewers.

I suppose there's reasons behind it, football, a few weeks of no new episodes... (which is gonna happen again between now and January 27)

And this is the time of year when ratings begin to dip so I can't see "That 90s Show" doing much better.

i thought it was an O.K. episode. it wasn't my favorite, but it surely wasn't my least favorite. there were some funny parts i laughed, and there was a good plot (i thought), but it was extrmely short, and the ending was considerably bad. at least to make up for that horrible ending, they could make a sequel but nope.

there were good ratings, even for football season. but i wish they could have been better, maybe That 90s Show will get those people back.

overall i have already voted for my rating it was a 9.3/10 but i will now change it to a 8.9/10. only becuz i deducted 6 points for the bad ending (i thought) 4 points becuz of the short episode and Ralph not barely in it. and 1 point for keeping the episode confusing, becuz i don't know what the heck primaries are, and other politic stuff.

I liked this episodes for some reasons.

1:Couch Gag was so loling
2:The politcal Jokes
3:Ralphs quotes were ok
4:The making the world a better future

Most people say they didnt get the ending!Well if you think about it mostly ever show is saying go "Go green in 08" or "Lets change" the world".They just want to show you to think better about are future.I liked this episode. But some jokes werent that funny. Over all this episode is mabye a 7.6/10 score.Probaly Family Guy will get alot of rating on Sunday 13th because of there new episode.I just hope that the simpsons keep on going. So if you think these episodes suck, then you go work for the simpsons and trying make better plots.Give them a break they already made 410 episodes.Jeez!

The couch gag really pissed me off. But the episode was fine overall. But the hilarious part was Bill Clinton posting signs for Hillary. Also Ralph like elmo, LMAO.

You may think that episodes arent airing as often as usual but look at the facts:

- Ten episodes have aired to date. At this time last year in Season 18, ten episodes had aired. In Season 17, ten episodes had aired. In Season 16, five episodes had aired. In Season 15, eight episodes had aired. And seven in Season 14.

- This year an episode aired on January 6 and we have to wait til January 27 for the next one. In Season 18 an episode aired on January 7 and we had to wait til January 28 for the next one. In Season 17 an episode aired on January 8 and we had to wait til January 29 for the next one. In Season 16, no episodes had aired yet, one aired January 16 and another January 30. Jump to Season 5 and only one episode aired in January.

The strike, or any other thing you guys are thinking of, is all in your head. The Simpsons is well on schedule with previous years. Nothing out of the ordinary is going on.
