Greater Municipality of Ankara has organized mutual visits by exchanging techniques and administrative personnel for several municipal issues such as environment, housing, city planning and public transportation within the framework of the relations with the Sister Cities. Exhibitions, cultural events, folklore shows and sports events have been realized in each sister city in order to improve friendship relations between our people and to let them know each other closer.
Thanks to the Culture Days, which have been launched by Greater Municipality of Ankara recently and which include Art-Culture Activities, Round Table Meetings among official committees and Round Table Meetings among Businessmen of the cities, contribution is made in improvement of friendship understanding of the people, knowledge and experience exchange is realized between Municipal Bureaucrats and Councils and a great success is achieved in development of commercial and economic relationships by ensuring direct contact between the businessmen.
