NETWORK Ten bosses have welcomed their former Video Hits presenter Axle Whitehead back into the fold after dumping the singer following that infamous wardrobe malfunction during the 2006 ARIA awards.
Whitehead's debut single, with the cheeky title I Don't Do Surprises, is featuring on their promotional spots for new drama, Women's Murder Club.
The track is set to finally launch Whitehead's pop career after his Australian Idol and TV presenter detours.
Those who have already heard it at Nova are champing at the bit to air the Coldplay-meets-Robbie Williams song, from Monday.
Whitehead co-wrote the track with American producer Robert Conley, who was Darren Hayes' chief collaborator for his solo albums.
