Arnhem 2007
The annual Air Despatch Pilgrimage to Arnhem takes place from 21st to 24th September 2007. The pilgrimage coach will depart from the Museum of Army Flying at Middle Wallop at 0730 and pick up at Fleet Services 0800 and Dover Docks main entrance at 1000.
The pilgrimage includes a Battlefield Tour, parachute drop on Ginkel Heath and the Remembrance Service, AD Service at the Maim Airborne Cemetery Oosterbeek on Sunday 23rd September.
Accommodation is at the 4 star Hotel de Cantharel, Apeldooen. B&b & Dinner is €135.00 for a double room and €103.00 for a single room (£92.00 & £70.00). This has to be paid direct to the hotel, not the Association. The coach fare is £65.00, payable to the Association by July.

THE YANGTZE INCIDENT 1949
Ken Hotchkiss, 799 Company RASC (AD)
Those who know their medals will notice that Ken has a Naval GSM. Ken and another Despatcher ‘Blondie’ Donno were awarded this medal with the Clasp ‘Yangtze’ for their part in the incident involving Chinese communist forces and HMS Amethyst in 1949.
